This busy regional practice of 20 partners and 150 conveyancing staff needed efficient control of its high-volume, low-margin conveyancing business.

BPE Solicitors soon recognised that Intelliworks had the potential to be a better, more effective product than any workflow software on the market and so Ochresoft was founded to write legal software for lawyers.

In July 2014, dmgi::land & property europe (DMGI), a subsidiary of the Daily Mail and General Trust plc, concluded a strategic minority investment in Ochresoft, at the same time making significant funding available to the company for future expansion and development.

DMGI is a well-connected and influential partner whose investment marks a new and exciting phase in the growth of Ochresoft. DMGI serves multiple customer segments through its leading brands, Landmark, Argyll, Quest, Searchflow, Millar & Bryce, Rochford Brady and on-geo.

We know that Intelliworks will ease the administrative burden, help us manage risk and underpin consistent working; but for us specifically, it also offers the opportunity to reengineer our team so that we can develop our assistants more quickly, have them supporting our fee earners more effectively and improve overall capacity and throughput, without sacrificing either the quality of our work or our standards of customer care.
